　　更加令人痛心的是，槍支暴力已成為美國青少年的“頭號殺手”。2019至2021年間，美國死于槍擊的兒童和青少年數(shù)量激增50%。調查中，超過八成（80.7%）的受訪者對于美國兒童和青少年的生命安全表示十分憂慮。

　　盡管每次發(fā)生槍擊案件都會引發(fā)民眾的強烈意見，希望政府取消控槍權，然而美國政府在此問題上從未采取任何有顯著效果的實質性舉措。在擁槍利益集團裹挾、兩黨相互掣肘的現(xiàn)狀下，槍支管控成為民眾望眼欲穿的水中月、鏡中花。調查顯示，82.9%的全球受訪者認為，美國法律在槍支管控方面存在嚴重漏洞，85.5%受訪者認為美國部分政客為攫取政治利益漠視對民眾生命安全的保障。而高達93.1%受訪者認為，美國根本無力改變現(xiàn)狀。

Gun control is even more difficult to achieve in the current situation, where pro-gun interests are controlling the government and the two parties are restraining each other. The survey showed that 82.9 percent of global respondents believe that there are serious flaws in U.S. law regarding gun control; 85.5 percent of respondents believe that some U.S. politicians ignore the guarantee of people’s lives for political interests; 93.1 percent of respondents believe that the United States is unable to change the status quo.
